God, formerly multifariously and abundantly having spoken to the fathers in the prophets, Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
At these last days spake to us in the Son, whom he set heir of all things, by whom also he made the times; but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Who being the brightness of glory, and the figure of his foundation, and bearing all things by the word of his power, having made by himself the purification of our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty among the highest ones; He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Being so much better than the angels, inasmuch as he has inherited a more distinguished name than they. having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
For to which of the angels once said he, Thou art my Son, I have this day begotten thee? And again, I will be to him for Father, and he shall be to me for Son? For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”? For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father|? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son|?
And when again he should bring in the firstborn to the habitable globe, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him. And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”
And truly to the angels of God he says, Who making his angels spirits, and his workmen flames of fire. Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”
And to the Son, Thy throne, O God, for the time of time: a rod of uprightness the rod of thy kingdom. But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
Thou hast loved justice, and hated iniquity; for this God anointed thee, thy God, with the oil of lively joy above thy partakers. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
And, Thou, at the beginning, Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands: And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
These shall be destroyed; but thou remainest; and they all as a garment shall grow old; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
And as a cloak shalt thou turn them round, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”
And to which of the angels has he once said, Sit on my right hand, till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet? And to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet|?
Are they not all spirits qualified for service, sent forth for service for them about to inherit salvation? Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
