| 26 | מִן־ קֳדָמַי֮ שִׂ֣ים טְעֵם֒ דִּ֣י ׀ בְּכָל־ שָׁלְטָ֣ן מַלְכוּתִ֗י לֶהֱוֺ֤ן [זאעין] (זָיְעִין֙) וְדָ֣חֲלִ֔ין מִן־ קֳדָ֖ם אֱלָהֵ֣הּ דִּי־ דָֽנִיֵּ֑אל דִּי־ ה֣וּא ׀ אֱלָהָ֣א חַיָּ֗א וְקַיָּם֙ לְעָ֣לְמִ֔ין וּמַלְכוּתֵהּ֙ דִּֽי־ לָ֣א תִתְחַבַּ֔ל וְשָׁלְטָנֵ֖הּ עַד־ סוֹפָֽא׃ | I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end. | “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. | |
