1 If, therefore, ye were raised up with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Keep thinking of the things above, not of the things on the earth, Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 for ye died, and your life has been hid with Christ in God. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, our Life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with Him be manifested in glory. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Make dead, therefore, your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which, indeed, is idolatry; Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
6 on account of which things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience; On account of these the wrath of God is coming. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
7 in which things ye also formerly walked, when ye were living in these things. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
8 But now do ye also put away all these ; anger, wrath, malice, reviling, shameful talk out of your mouth. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
9 Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices, Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices
10 and having put on the new man who is being renewed unto full knowledge, according to the image of Him Who created him; and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

12 Put on, therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, tender affections of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering; Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13 (bearing with one another, and freely forgiving one another, if any one have a complaint against any; even as the Lord freely forgave you, so also do ye): bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14 and over all these put on love, which is the uniting-bond of perfectness. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, unto which also ye were called in one body; and become thankful. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
23 Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men; Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
24 knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye are doing service to the Lord, Christ. knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
25 For he that does wrong shall receive back the wrong which he did; and there is no respect of persons, For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
