4	וַיָּבֹא֩ אַחְאָ֨ב אֶל־ בֵּית֜וֹ סַ֣ר וְזָעֵ֗ף עַל־ הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלָ֗יו נָבוֹת֙ הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֔י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹֽא־ אֶתֵּ֥ן לְךָ֖ אֶת־ נַחֲלַ֣ת אֲבוֹתָ֑י וַיִּשְׁכַּב֙ עַל־ מִטָּת֔וֹ וַיַּסֵּ֥ב אֶת־ פָּנָ֖יו וְלֹֽא־ אָ֥כַל לָֽחֶם׃	And Ahab went into his house vexed and sullen because of what Naboth the Jezreelite had said to him, for he had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” And he lay down on his bed and turned away his face and would eat no food.	So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat.
5	וַתָּבֹ֥א אֵלָ֖יו אִיזֶ֣בֶל אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וַתְּדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלָ֗יו מַה־ זֶּה֙ רוּחֲךָ֣ סָרָ֔ה וְאֵינְךָ֖ אֹכֵ֥ל לָֽחֶם׃	But Jezebel his wife came to him and said to him, “Why is your spirit so vexed that you eat no food?”	His wife Jezebel came in and asked him, “Why are you so sullen? Why won’t you eat?”
6	וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֶ֗יהָ כִּֽי־ אֲ֠דַבֵּר אֶל־ נָב֨וֹת הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֜י וָאֹ֣מַר ל֗וֹ תְּנָה־ לִּ֤י אֶֽת־ כַּרְמְךָ֙ בְּכֶ֔סֶף א֚וֹ אִם־ חָפֵ֣ץ אַתָּ֔ה אֶתְּנָה־ לְךָ֥ כֶ֖רֶם תַּחְתָּ֑יו וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹֽא־ אֶתֵּ֥ן לְךָ֖ אֶת־ כַּרְמִֽי׃	And he said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money, or else, if it please you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ And he answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”	He answered her, “Because I said to Naboth the Jezreelite, ‘Sell me your vineyard; or if you prefer, I will give you another vineyard in its place.’ But he said, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”
7	וַתֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ אִיזֶ֣בֶל אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ אַתָּ֕ה עַתָּ֛ה תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה מְלוּכָ֖ה עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ק֤וּם אֱכָל־ לֶ֙חֶם֙ וְיִטַ֣ב לִבֶּ֔ךָ אֲנִי֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן לְךָ֔ אֶת־ כֶּ֖רֶם נָב֥וֹת הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִֽי׃	And Jezebel his wife said to him, “Do you now govern Israel? Arise and eat bread and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”	Jezebel his wife said, “Is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”
