1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, you should follow the directions I gave to the churches in Galatia. Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.
2 After the Sabbath ends, each of you should set aside and save something from your surplus in proportion to what you have, so that no collections will have to be made when I arrive. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
