1 Now concerning the collection that is for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so also you⁺ are to do. Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.
2 Every first of the week, let each one of you⁺ put aside, treasuring up whatever he may be prospered in, so that when I might come, then there should be no collections. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
3 And when I shall have arrived, whomever you⁺ might approve, I will send these with letters to carry your⁺ gracious gift to Jerusalem. And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem. Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.
4 And if it may be worthy for me also to go, they will go with me. If it seems advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me. If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
5 But I will come to you⁺ when I shall have gone through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia. I will visit you after passing through Macedonia, for I intend to pass through Macedonia, After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you—for I will be going through Macedonia.
6 And perhaps I will stay with you⁺, or even I will winter, so that you⁺ may send me forth wherever I may go. and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may help me on my journey, wherever I go. Perhaps I will stay with you for a while, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.
7 For I do not want to see you⁺ now in passing; for I hope to remain a certain time with you⁺, if the Lord might permit. For I do not want to see you now just in passing. I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. For I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.

10 Now if Timothy might come, see that he may be with you⁺ without fear, for he works the work of the Lord, as I also. When Timothy comes, see that you put him at ease among you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I am. When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.
11 Therefore no one should despise him. But send him forth in peace, so that he might come to me; for I am expecting him with the brothers. So let no one despise him. Help him on his way in peace, that he may return to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers. No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.
12 Now concerning Apollos the brother, I exhorted him much that he should go to you⁺ with the brothers, and his will was not at all that he should come now; but he will come when he shall have opportunity. Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brothers, but it was not at all his will to come now. He will come when he has opportunity. Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
13 Be watchful; stand firm in the faith; act like men; be strong. Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
14 Let all your⁺ things be done in love. Let all that you do be done in love. Do everything in love.

17 Now I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because these filled up your⁺ deficiency. 19 The churches of Asia greet you⁺. Aquila and Prisca, with the church at their house, greet you⁺ much in the Lord. The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.
20 All the brothers greet you⁺. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the brothers send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21 The greeting is in my own hand—Paul. I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand.
22 If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha! If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come! If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed! Come, Lord!
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you⁺. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
24 My love be with all of you⁺ in Christ Jesus. Amen. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
