| 11But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person. | 11But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. |
| 12For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? | 12What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? |
| 13But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” | 13God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked person from among you." |
