| 2Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. | 2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us shout with songs of praise to him. |
| 3For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. | 3For the LORD is an awesome God; a great king above all divine beings. |
| 4In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. | 4He holds in his hand the lowest parts of the earth and the mountain peaks belong to him. |
| 5The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. | 5The sea that he made belongs to him, along with the dry land that his hands formed. |
