1The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron--four in all.1The four descendants of Issachar included Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel--heads of their families. During the reign of David, the descendants of Tola listed as fighting men in their genealogy numbered 22,600.2Tola's descendants included Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, leaders of their ancestral house of Tola, who were valiant warriors during their lifetimes. During the life of David, they numbered 22,600.
3The son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. All five of them were chiefs.3Uzzi fathered Izrahiah, and Izrahiah fathered Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah, all five of them leaders.
4According to their family genealogy, they had 36,000 men ready for battle, for they had many wives and children.4In addition to them, according to their ancestral records were 36,000 members of their trained army by their generations, because they had many wives and children.
5The relatives who were fighting men belonging to all the clans of Issachar, as listed in their genealogy, were 87,000 in all.5As recorded in their genealogy, a total of 87,000 trained warriors belonged to all of the clans of Issachar.
6Three sons of Benjamin: Bela, Beker and Jediael.6Benjamin's three descendants included Bela, Becher, and Jediael.

11All these sons of Jediael were heads of families. There were 17,200 fighting men ready to go out to war.11All these were descendants through Jediael according to the heads of their ancestral households. Their valiant warriors totaled 17,200 equipped and ready for battle.
12The Shuppites and Huppites were the descendants of Ir, and the Hushites the descendants of Aher.12In addition, Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, and the Hushites were descended from Aher.
13The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem --the descendants of Bilhah.13Naphtali's descendants included Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, descended through Bilhah.
14The descendants of Manasseh: Asriel was his descendant through his Aramean concubine. She gave birth to Makir the father of Gilead.14Manasseh's descendants included Asriel, whom his Aramean mistress bore, along with Machir, who fathered Gilead.
15Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister's name was Maakah. Another descendant was named Zelophehad, who had only daughters.15Machir chose wives for his sons Huppim and for Shuppim. He had a sister named Maacah. His second son was named Zelophehad, and Zelophehad fathered only daughters.
16Makir's wife Maakah gave birth to a son and named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.16Machir's wife Maacah bore a son whom she named Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.
17The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh.17Ulam's son was Bedan. These were the children of Machir's son Gilead, who was also a descendant of Manasseh.
18His sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishhod, Abiezer and Mahlah.18His sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

21Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son. The people of Gath, who were native to the land, killed them when they came down to raid their cattle.

29Along the borders of Manasseh were Beth Shan, Taanach, Megiddo and Dor, together with their villages. 40All these were descendants of Asher--heads of families, choice men, brave warriors and outstanding leaders. The number of men ready for battle, as listed in their genealogy, was 26,000.40All of these were men of Asher, leaders of ancestral households, choice valiant mighty warriors, and chiefs among princes. Their enrolled genealogies for battle conscription totaled 26,000 men.
