Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. | 1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. | 2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. |
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. | 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. |
But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. | 4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. |
For each one will bear his own load. | 5For every man shall bear his own burden. |
The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. | 6Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. |
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. | 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. |
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. | 8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. |
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. | 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. | 10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. |
See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. | 11Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. |
Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. | 12As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. |
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. | 13For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. |
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. | 14But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. |
For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. | 15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. |
And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. | 16And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. |
From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus. | 17From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. |
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen. | 18Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. |
