Psalm 54
NASB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
1For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "Is not David hiding himself among us?" Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power.1God, by your name deliver me, and by your power vindicate me.
2Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth.2God, listen to my prayer, and pay attention to the words of my mouth.
3For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah.3For the arrogant have arisen against me; oppressors have sought to take my life. They do not keep God in mind! Interlude
4Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.4Look, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who are guarding my life.
5He will recompense the evil to my foes; Destroy them in Your faithfulness.5He will turn the evil upon those who lie in wait for me. Cut them off with your truth.
6Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to Your name, O LORD, for it is good.6With a free will offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, LORD, because it is good,
7For He has delivered me from all trouble, And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.7for he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have seen the end of my enemies.
