NASB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995English Standard Version
1For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "Is not David hiding himself among us?" Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power.1O God, save me by your name, and vindicate me by your might.
2Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth.2O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah.3For strangers have risen against me; ruthless men seek my life; they do not set God before themselves. Selah
4Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.4Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
5He will recompense the evil to my foes; Destroy them in Your faithfulness.5He will return the evil to my enemies; in your faithfulness put an end to them.
6Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to Your name, O LORD, for it is good.6With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.
7For He has delivered me from all trouble, And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.7For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.
