NASB Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Berean Study Bible
A Song of Ascents. "Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up," Let Israel now say,1A song of ascents. Many a time they have persecuted me from my youth—let Israel now declare—
"Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up; Yet they have not prevailed against me.2many a time they have persecuted me from my youth, but they have not prevailed against me.
"The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows."3The plowmen plowed over my back; they made their furrows long.
The LORD is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked.4The LORD is righteous; He has cut me from the cords of the wicked.
May all who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned backward;5May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame.
Let them be like grass upon the housetops, Which withers before it grows up;6May they be like grass on the rooftops, which withers before it can grow,
With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or the binder of sheaves his bosom;7unable to fill the hands of the reaper, or the arms of the binder of sheaves.
Nor do those who pass by say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD."8May none who pass by say to them, “The blessing of the LORD be on you; we bless you in the name of the LORD.”
