O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. | 1Come! Let's sing for joy to the LORD! Let's shout out praises to our protector who delivers us! |
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. | 2Let's enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let's shout out to him in celebration! |
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. | 3For the LORD is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods. |
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. | 4The depths of the earth are in his hand, and the mountain peaks belong to him. |
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. | 5The sea is his, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land. |
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. | 6Come! Let's bow down and worship! Let's kneel before the LORD, our creator! |
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, | 7For he is our God; we are the people of his pasture, the sheep he owns. Today, if only you would obey him! |

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. | 9where your ancestors challenged my authority, and tried my patience, even though they had seen my work. |

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. | 11So I made a vow in my anger, 'They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.'" |
