Psalm 121
ESV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionNew International Version
1I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?1A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains-- where does my help come from?
2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.3He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber;
4Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.4indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.5The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.6the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.7The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;
8The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.8the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
