| 1You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. | 1At that time you will say: "I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me. |
| 2“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” | 2Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer." |
| 3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. | 3Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance. |
| 4And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. | 4At that time you will say: "Praise the LORD! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique! |
| 5“Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. | 5Sing to the LORD, for he has done magnificent things, let this be known throughout the earth! |
| 6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” | 6Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!" |
