English Standard Version | Holman Christian Standard Bible |
You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. | 1On that day you will say:" I will praise You, LORD, although You were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and You have had compassion on me. |
“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” | 2Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the LORD, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation." |
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. | 3You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation, |
And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. | 4and on that day you will say:" Give thanks to Yahweh; proclaim His name! Celebrate His works among the peoples. Declare that His name is exalted. |
“Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. | 5Sing to Yahweh, for He has done glorious things. Let this be known throughout the earth. |
Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” | 6Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is among you in His greatness." |
