15He sends his command throughout the earth; his word runs swiftly. | 15He sends his orders to the world— how swiftly his word flies! |
16He spreads snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes; | 16He sends the snow like white wool; he scatters frost upon the ground like ashes. |
17he throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand his cold? | 17He hurls the hail like stones. Who can stand against his freezing cold? |
18He sends his word and melts them; he unleashes his winds, and the water flows. | 18Then, at his command, it all melts. He sends his winds, and the ice thaws. |
19He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel. | 19He has revealed his words to Jacob, his decrees and regulations to Israel. |
20He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments. Hallelujah! | 20He has not done this for any other nation; they do not know his regulations. Praise the LORD! |
