Psalm 130
BSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Standard BibleNew Living Translation
1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD!1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2O Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy.2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3If You, O LORD, kept track of iniquities, then who, O Lord, could stand?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be feared.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning—more than watchmen wait for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is loving devotion, and with Him is redemption in abundance.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And He will redeem Israel from all iniquity.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
