Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.1Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.2Carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.4Let each one examine his own work. Then he can take pride in himself and not compare himself with someone else.
For each one should carry his own load.5For each one will carry his own load.
Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor.6Now the one who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with the one who teaches it.
Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.7Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows,
The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.8because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.9So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.10So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.
See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand!11See what big letters I make as I write to you with my own hand!
Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to make a good showing in external matters are trying to force you to be circumcised. They do so only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.13For those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your flesh.
But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.15For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation!
Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God.16And all who will behave in accordance with this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on the Israel of God.
From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.17From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear the marks of Jesus on my body.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
