Revelation 2
The New Messianic Version of the Bible
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus [permitted] write; These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

I know youri works, and youri labour, and youri patience, and how youi can not bear them which are evil: and youi have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: 3And have borne, and have patience, and for my name's sake have laboured, and have not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against youi, because youi have left youri first love. 5Remember therefore from what place youi are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto youi quickly, and will remove youri candlestick out of his place, except youi repent. 6But this youi have, that youi hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans [destruction of people], which I also hate. 7He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God-The Father.

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna [myrrh] write; These things says the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

I know youri works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but youi are rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah], and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan [the adversary]. 10Fear none of those things which youi shall suffer (allow, to let, permit): behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that you2f may be tried; and you2f shall have tribulation ten days: be youi faithful unto death, and I will give youi a crown of life. 11He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos [height or elevation] write; These things says he which has the sharp sword with two edges;

I know youri works, and where youi dwell, [even] where Satan [the adversary]'s seat [is]: and youi hold fast my name, and have not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [like the father] [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan [the adversary] dwells. 14But I have a few things against youi, because youi have there them that hold the doctrine of Bil’am [Not of the People], who taught Balak [a devastaror or spoiler] to cast a stumblingblock before the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heal Of God], to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15So have youi also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans [destruction of people], which thing I hate. 16Repent; or else I will come unto youi quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives [it].

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira [odour of affliction] write; These things says the Son of God-The Father, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;

I know youri works, and charity, and service, and faith, and youri patience, and youri works; and the last [to be] more than the first. 20Yet I have a few things against youi, because youi suffer (allow, to let, permit) that woman Izevel [Ba’al exalts], which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she will not to repent of her fornication. 22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins (literally, kidneys; figuratively, seat of emotion) and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira [odour of affliction], as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan [the adversary], as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25But that which you2f have [already] hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches.
