2 Timothy 1
The New Messianic Version of the Bible
1Sha’ul [desired], an apostle of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] by the will of God-The Father, according to the promise of life which is in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation],

2To Timothy [honoring God], [my] dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God-The Father the Father and Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] our Lord - Kurios.

3I thank God-The Father, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of youi in my prayers night and day; 4Greatly desiring to see youi, being mindful of youri tears, that I may be filled with joy; 5When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in youi, which dwelt first in youri grandmother Lois [agreeable], and youri mother Eunice [good victory]; and I am persuaded that in youi also. 6For what reason I put youi in remembrance that youi stir up the gift of God-The Father, which is in youi by the putting on of my hands. 7For God-The Father has not given us the Spirit [Ruach] of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

8Be not youi therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord - Kurios, nor of me his prisoner: but be youi partaker of the afflictions of the Gospel (joyful message) according to the power of God-The Father; 9Who has saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation]before the world began, 10But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel (joyful message): 11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Goyim [Gentiles]. 12For the which cause I also suffer (allow, to let, permit) these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 13Hold fast the form of sound words, which youi have heard of me, in faith and love which is in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation]. 14That good thing which was committed unto youri keep by the Holy Spirit [Ruach HaKodesh] which dwells in us.

15This youi know, that all they which are in Asia [orient] be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus [a little fugitive] and Hermogenes [lucky born]. 16The Lord - Kurios give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus [bringing profit]; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain: 17But, when he was in Rome [strength], he sought me out very diligently, and found [me]. 18The Lord - Kurios grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord - Kurios in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus [permitted], youi know very well.
