1And it came to pass, when Sha’ul [desired] was returned from following the P’lishtim [Immigrants], that it was told him, saying, Behold, David [beloved] [is] in the wilderness of ‘Ein-Gedi [Fount of the Kid]. 2Then Sha’ul [desired] took three thousand chosen men out of all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and went to seek David [beloved] and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats. 3And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where [was] a cave; and Sha’ul [desired] went in to cover his feet: and David [beloved] and his men remained in the sides of the cave. 4And the men of David [beloved] said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto youⁱ, Behold, I will deliver youⁱ enemy into youⁱ hand, that youⁱ may do to him as it shall seem good unto youⁱ. Then David [beloved] arose, and cut off the skirt of Sha’ul’s [desired] robe privately. 5And it came to pass afterward, that David’s [beloved]'s heart struck him, because he had cut off Sha’ul’s [desired] skirt. 6And he said unto his men, The LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] anointed, to stretch forth my hand against him, seeing he [is] the anointed of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate). 7So David [beloved] detained (held) his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Sha’ul [desired]. But Sha’ul [desired] rose up out of the cave, and went on [his] way.

8David [beloved] also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Sha’ul [desired], saying, My lord the king. And when Sha’ul [desired] looked behind him, David [beloved] stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself. 9And David [beloved] said to Sha’ul [desired], For what reason hear youⁱ men's words, saying, Behold, David [beloved] seeks youⁱ hurt? 10Behold, this day youⁱ eyes have seen how that the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had delivered youⁱ to day into my hand in the cave: and [some] bade [me] kill youⁱ: but [my eye] spared youⁱ; and I said, I will not put forth my hand against my lord; for he [is] the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] anointed. 11Moreover, my father, see, yes, see the skirt of youⁱ robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of youⁱ robe, and killed youⁱ not, know youⁱ and see that [there is] neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against youⁱ; yet youⁱ hunt my soul to take it. 12The LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) judge between me and youⁱ, and the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) avenge me of youⁱ: but my hand shall not be upon youⁱ. 13As says the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceeds from the wicked: but my hand shall not be upon youⁱ. 14After whom is the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] come out? after whom do youⁱ pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea. 15The LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) therefore be judge, and judge between me and youⁱ, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of youⁱ hand.

16And it came to pass, when David [beloved] had made an end of speaking these words unto Sha’ul [desired], that Sha’ul [desired] said, [Is] this youⁱ voice, my son David [beloved]? And Sha’ul [desired] lifted up his voice, and wept. 17And he said to David [beloved], youⁱ [are] more righteous than I: for youⁱ have rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded youⁱ evil. 18And youⁱ have showed this day how that youⁱ have dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had delivered me into youⁱ hand, youⁱ killed me not. 19For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) reward youⁱ good for that youⁱ have done unto me this day. 20And now, behold, I know well that youⁱ shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] shall be established in yourⁱ hand. 21Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), that youⁱ will not cut off my seed after me, and that youⁱ will not destroy my name out of my father's house. 22And David [beloved] swore unto Sha’ul [desired]. And Sha’ul [desired] went home; but David [beloved] and his men got them up unto the hold.
