For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength.

Učitelju zbora. Od Jahvina sluge Davida koji Jahvi ispjeva ovu pjesmu u onaj dan kad ga Jahve oslobodi iz ruku neprijatelja (1a) Ljubim te, Jahve, kreposti moja!

Přednímu zpěváku, služebníka Hospodinova Davida, kterýž mluvil Hospodinu slova písně této v ten den, v němž ho vysvobodil Hospodin z ruky všech nepřátel jeho i z ruky Saulovy, a řekl: (1a) Z vnitřnosti srdce miluji tě, Hospodine, sílo má.

Az éneklõmesternek, az Úr szolgájától, Dávidtól, a ki az Úrhoz ez ének szavait azon a napon mondotta, a melyen az Úr megszabadította õt minden ellenségének kezébõl, és a Saul kezébõl. (1a) És monda: Szeretlek Uram, én erõsségem!

Dem Musikmeister. Vom Knechte Jahwes, von David, der an Jahwe die Worte dieses Liedes richtete, als ihn Jahwe aus der Gewalt aller seiner Feinde und aus der Hand Sauls errettet hatte.2 Er sprach: Ich will dich erhöhen, Jahwe, meine Stärke! Jahwe ist mein Fels in meiner Drangsal und mein Erretter.

Bagi biduan besar suatu mazmur Daud, hamba Tuhan, yang telah menyanyikan bagi Tuhan segala perkataan nyanyian ini pada masa telah dilepaskan Tuhan akan dia dari pada tangan segala seterunya dan lagi dari pada tangan Saulpun. (1a) Maka katanya: Dengan sungguh-sungguh hati aku mengasihi akan Dikau, ya Tuhan! yang kuatku!
