Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight."6Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight.”6"Forsake your folly and live, And proceed in the way of understanding."6Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.6Leave inexperience behind, and you will live; pursue the way of understanding.
Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.7Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.7He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself.7He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.7The one who corrects a mocker will bring dishonor on himself; the one who rebukes a wicked man will get hurt.
Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.8Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you.8Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you, Reprove a wise man and he will love you.8Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.8Don't rebuke a mocker, or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.9Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.9Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.9Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.9Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will learn more."
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB

For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.11For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.11For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.11For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.11For by Wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.
If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.12If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you scoff, you alone will bear it.12If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you alone will bear it.12If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.12If you are wise, you are wise for your own benefit; if you mock, you alone will bear the consequences."
