Respect

Proverbs 1:7 states, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." This "fear" is not about being afraid but about having a deep respect and awe for God's majesty and authority.

Romans 13:1-2 says, "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Philippians 2:5-8 describes His humility: "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross."

3. Humility in Relationships: Believers are called to practice humility in their interactions with others. Ephesians 4:2 encourages, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." This humility fosters unity and peace within the Christian community.

4. The Reward of Humility: The Bible promises that humility leads to honor and blessing. Proverbs 22:4 states, "The reward of humility and the fear of the LORD is riches and honor and life." Humility is not only a virtue but also a pathway to experiencing God's favor and wisdom.
