Noah is a quintessential figure, demonstrating unwavering faithfulness as he prepared the ark in obedience to God's command. Despite the ridicule and disbelief of those around him, Noah's preparation was an act of faith that ultimately led to the preservation of his family and the animal kingdom. Genesis 6:22 states, "So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him."

Joseph's life also exemplifies faithfulness in preparation. Sold into slavery and later imprisoned, Joseph remained faithful to God, preparing for the future by interpreting dreams and managing resources wisely. His preparation during the years of plenty ensured survival during the years of famine, as seen in Genesis 41:48-49: "During the seven years of abundance, the land produced plentifully.
