Jesus’ ministry brought deliverance from demonic bondage and healing from bodily disease, displaying His authority over every form of human affliction. The women who followed Him had personally received His mercy and became faithful disciples and supporters of His work. Their presence among Jesus’ followers revealed the dignity He gave to women and anticipated the Gospel’s call of all believers into one redeemed people.
