This is what the Lord GOD says: 'On the first day of the first month you are to take a young bull without blemish and purify the sanctuary. This is what the Lord GOD says:The ordinances come from the sovereign God of Israel, not from Ezekiel’s own authority. The restored worship of God’s people must be ordered by the Lord’s revealed will. Ezk 2:4 They are obstinate and stubborn children.… ‘On the first day of the first month The first month, Nisan, opened Israel’s religious year and recalled the season of the Exodus and Passover.
