3Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah, 3פַּשְׁח֥וּר אֲמַרְיָ֖ה מַלְכִּיָּֽה׃
4Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch, 4חַטּ֥וּשׁ שְׁבַנְיָ֖ה מַלּֽוּךְ׃
5Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah, 5חָרִ֥ם מְרֵמ֖וֹת עֹֽבַדְיָֽה׃
6Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch, 6דָּנִיֵּ֥אל גִּנְּת֖וֹן בָּרֽוּךְ׃
7Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin, 7מְשֻׁלָּ֥ם אֲבִיָּ֖ה מִיָּמִֽן׃
8Maaziah, Bilgai, and Shemaiah. These [were] the priests. 8מַֽעַזְיָ֥ה בִלְגַּ֖י שְׁמַֽעְיָ֑ה אֵ֖לֶּה הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ ס
9The Levites: Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel, 9וְֽהַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְיֵשׁ֙וּעַ֙ בֶּן־ אֲזַנְיָ֔ה בִּנּ֕וּי מִבְּנֵ֥י חֵנָדָ֖ד קַדְמִיאֵֽל׃
10and their associates: Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan, 10וַאֲחֵיהֶ֑ם שְׁבַנְיָ֧ה הֽוֹדִיָּ֛ה קְלִיטָ֖א פְּלָאיָ֥ה חָנָֽן׃
11Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah, 11מִיכָ֥א רְח֖וֹב חֲשַׁבְיָֽה׃
12Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah, 12זַכּ֥וּר שֵׁרֵֽבְיָ֖ה שְׁבַנְיָֽה׃
13Hodiah, Bani, and Beninu. 13הוֹדִיָּ֥ה בָנִ֖י בְּנִֽינוּ׃ ס
14The leaders of the people: Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani, 14רָאשֵׁ֖י הָעָ֑ם פַּרְעֹשׁ֙ פַּחַ֣ת מוֹאָ֔ב עֵילָ֥ם זַתּ֖וּא בָּנִֽי׃
15Bunni, Azgad, Bebai, 15בֻּנִּ֥י עַזְגָּ֖ד בֵּבָֽי׃
16Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin, 16אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה בִגְוַ֖י עָדִֽין׃
17Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur, 17אָטֵ֥ר חִזְקִיָּ֖ה עַזּֽוּר׃
18Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai, 18הוֹדִיָּ֥ה חָשֻׁ֖ם בֵּצָֽי׃
19Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai, 19חָרִ֥יף עֲנָת֖וֹת [נובי] (נֵיבָֽי׃)
20Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir, 20מַגְפִּיעָ֥שׁ מְשֻׁלָּ֖ם חֵזִֽיר׃
21Meshezabel, Zadok, Jaddua, 21מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵ֥ל צָד֖וֹק יַדּֽוּעַ׃
22Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah, 22פְּלַטְיָ֥ה חָנָ֖ן עֲנָיָֽה׃
23Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub, 23הוֹשֵׁ֥עַ חֲנַנְיָ֖ה חַשּֽׁוּב׃
24Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek, 24הַלּוֹחֵ֥שׁ פִּלְחָ֖א שׁוֹבֵֽק׃
25Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah, 25רְח֥וּם חֲשַׁבְנָ֖ה מַעֲשֵׂיָֽה׃
26Ahijah, Hanan, Anan, 26וַאֲחִיָּ֥ה חָנָ֖ן עָנָֽן׃
27Malluch, Harim, [and] Baanah. 27מַלּ֥וּךְ חָרִ֖ם בַּעֲנָֽה׃
28“The rest of the people— the priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, and temple servants, and all who had separated themselves from the people of the land to obey the law of God— along with their wives and all their sons and daughters who were able to understand, 28וּשְׁאָ֣ר הָעָ֡ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים הַ֠לְוִיִּם הַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֨ים הַמְשֹׁרְרִ֜ים הַנְּתִינִ֗ים וְֽכָל־ הַנִּבְדָּ֞ל מֵעַמֵּ֤י הָאֲרָצוֹת֙ אֶל־ תּוֹרַ֣ת הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים נְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם בְּנֵיהֶ֣ם וּבְנֹתֵיהֶ֑ם כֹּ֖ל יוֹדֵ֥עַ מֵבִֽין׃
29hereby join with their noble brothers and commit themselves with a sworn oath to follow the Law of God given through [His] servant Moses and to carefully obey all the commandments, ordinances, and statutes of the LORD our Lord. 29מַחֲזִיקִ֣ים עַל־ אֲחֵיהֶם֮ אַדִּירֵיהֶם֒ וּבָאִ֞ים בְּאָלָ֣ה וּבִשְׁבוּעָ֗ה לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ בְּתוֹרַ֣ת הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִתְּנָ֔ה בְּיַ֖ד מֹשֶׁ֣ה עֶֽבֶד־ הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְלִשְׁמ֣וֹר וְלַעֲשׂ֗וֹת אֶת־ כָּל־ מִצְוֺת֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֲדֹנֵ֔ינוּ וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֖יו וְחֻקָּֽיו׃
30We will not give our daughters {in marriage} to the people of the land, and we will not take their daughters for our sons. 30וַאֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־ נִתֵּ֥ן בְּנֹתֵ֖ינוּ לְעַמֵּ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ וְאֶת־ בְּנֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם לֹ֥א נִקַּ֖ח לְבָנֵֽינוּ׃
31When the people of the land bring merchandise or any kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not buy from them on a Sabbath day or holy day. Every seventh year we will let the fields lie fallow, and will cancel every debt. 31וְעַמֵּ֣י הָאָ֡רֶץ הַֽמְבִיאִים֩ אֶת־ הַמַּקָּח֨וֹת וְכָל־ שֶׁ֜בֶר בְּי֤וֹם הַשַּׁבָּת֙ לִמְכּ֔וֹר לֹא־ נִקַּ֥ח מֵהֶ֛ם בַּשַּׁבָּ֖ת וּבְי֣וֹם קֹ֑דֶשׁ וְנִטֹּ֛שׁ אֶת־ הַשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖ית וּמַשָּׁ֥א כָל־ יָֽד׃
32We also place ourselves under the obligation to contribute a third of a shekel yearly for the service of the house of our God: 32וְהֶעֱמַ֤דְנוּ עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ מִצְוֺ֔ת לָתֵ֥ת עָלֵ֛ינוּ שְׁלִשִׁ֥ית הַשֶּׁ֖קֶל בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה לַעֲבֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֥ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
33for the showbread, for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings, for the Sabbath offerings, for the New Moon and appointed feasts, for the holy offerings, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the duties of the house of our God. 33לְלֶ֣חֶם הַֽמַּעֲרֶ֡כֶת וּמִנְחַ֣ת הַתָּמִ֣יד וּלְעוֹלַ֣ת הַ֠תָּמִיד הַשַּׁבָּת֨וֹת הֶחֳדָשִׁ֜ים לַמּוֹעֲדִ֗ים וְלַקֳּדָשִׁים֙ וְלַ֣חַטָּא֔וֹת לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְכֹ֖ל מְלֶ֥אכֶת בֵּית־ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ס
34We have cast lots among the priests, Levites, and people for the donation of wood by our families at the appointed times each year. They are to bring it to the house of our God to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law. 34וְהַגּוֹרָל֨וֹת הִפַּ֜לְנוּ עַל־ קֻרְבַּ֣ן הָעֵצִ֗ים הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים הַלְוִיִּם֮ וְהָעָם֒ לְ֠הָבִיא לְבֵ֨ית אֱלֹהֵ֧ינוּ לְבֵית־ אֲבֹתֵ֛ינוּ לְעִתִּ֥ים מְזֻמָּנִ֖ים שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֑ה לְבַעֵ֗ר עַל־ מִזְבַּח֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ כַּכָּת֖וּב בַּתּוֹרָֽה׃
35We will also bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the house of the LORD year by year. 35וּלְהָבִ֞יא אֶת־ בִּכּוּרֵ֣י אַדְמָתֵ֗נוּ וּבִכּוּרֵ֛י כָּל־ פְּרִ֥י כָל־ עֵ֖ץ שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֑ה לְבֵ֖ית יְהוָֽה׃
36And we will bring the firstborn of our sons and our livestock, as [it is] written in the Law, and will bring the firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God. 36וְאֶת־ בְּכֹר֤וֹת בָּנֵ֙ינוּ֙ וּבְהֶמְתֵּ֔ינוּ כַּכָּת֖וּב בַּתּוֹרָ֑ה וְאֶת־ בְּכוֹרֵ֨י בְקָרֵ֜ינוּ וְצֹאנֵ֗ינוּ לְהָבִיא֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ לַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים הַמְשָׁרְתִ֖ים בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
37Moreover, we will bring to the priests at the storerooms of the house of our God the firstfruits of our dough, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees, and of our new wine and oil. A tenth of our produce belongs to the Levites, for [they] should receive tithes in all the towns where we labor. 37וְאֶת־ רֵאשִׁ֣ית עֲרִיסֹתֵ֣ינוּ וּ֠תְרוּמֹתֵינוּ וּפְרִ֨י כָל־ עֵ֜ץ תִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְיִצְהָ֗ר נָבִ֤יא לַכֹּהֲנִים֙ אֶל־ לִשְׁכ֣וֹת בֵּית־ אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ וּמַעְשַׂ֥ר אַדְמָתֵ֖נוּ לַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהֵם֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם הַֽמְעַשְּׂרִ֔ים בְּכֹ֖ל עָרֵ֥י עֲבֹדָתֵֽנוּ׃
38A priest descended from Aaron is to accompany the Levites when they collect the tenth, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of these tithes to the storerooms of the treasury in the house of our God. 38וְהָיָ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֧ן בֶּֽן־ אַהֲרֹ֛ן עִם־ הַלְוִיִּ֖ם בַּעְשֵׂ֣ר הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם יַעֲל֨וּ אֶת־ מַעֲשַׂ֤ר הַֽמַּעֲשֵׂר֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ אֶל־ הַלְּשָׁכ֖וֹת לְבֵ֥ית הָאוֹצָֽר׃
39For the Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary [are kept] and where the ministering priests, the gatekeepers, and the singers [stay]. Thus we will not neglect the house of our God.” 39כִּ֣י אֶל־ הַ֠לְּשָׁכוֹת יָבִ֨יאוּ בְנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל וּבְנֵ֣י הַלֵּוִ֗י אֶת־ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַדָּגָן֮ הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָר֒ וְשָׁם֙ כְּלֵ֣י הַמִּקְדָּ֔שׁ וְהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ הַמְשָׁ֣רְתִ֔ים וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֖ים וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֑ים וְלֹ֥א נַעֲזֹ֖ב אֶת־ בֵּ֥ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
