1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we boast in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but also we boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, the One having been given to us. 6 Still indeed Christ, in our still being weak, according to the right time, died for the ungodly. 7 For hardly anyone will die for a righteous man, though for the good man perhaps someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love to us, that in our being still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Therefore much more, having been justified now by His blood, we will be saved by Him from wrath! 10 For if, being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in His life!
