A Prayer of David. Incline Your ear, O YHWH; answer me, for I am afflicted and in need.

May You guard my life, for am I faithful; may You save Your servant—the one trusting in You—You my God.

Show favor to me, O Lord, for to You I call out all the day.

Make glad the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

For You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, and abundant in in loving devotion to all those calling on You.

Give ear, O YHWH, to my prayer, and attend to the voice of my pleas.

In the day of my distress I call on you, for You will answer me!

None like You is among the gods, O Lord, and not like Your works.

All the nations whom You have made shall come and bow down before Your face, O Lord, and they will glorify Your name.

For You are great, and the One doing wonders; You are God—You alone.
