Psalms 85:3-13 ▼

3 You have gathered up all Your fury; You have turned from the burning of Your anger.

4 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and Your anger toward us cause to cease!

5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to generation and generation?

6 Will You not turn back and revive us, that Your people may rejoice in You?

7 Show us, O YHWH, Your loving devotion, and give to us Your salvation!

8 Let me hear what my God YHWH will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His holy ones; He will not let them return to folly.

9 Surely His salvation is near to those fearing Him, that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Loving devotion and faithfulness have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.

11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from the heavens.

12 Indeed YHWH will give that which is good, and our land will give forth its produce.

13 Righteousness will go before Him, to prepare the way of His steps.
