1 For the one directing. Of the sons of Korah a Psalm. You have shown favor, O YHWH, to Your land; You have turned back the captivity of Jacob. 2 You have borne away the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah 3 You have gathered up all Your fury; You have turned from the burning of Your anger. 4 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and Your anger toward us cause to cease! 5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to generation and generation? 6 Will You not turn back and revive us, that Your people may rejoice in You? 7 Show us, O YHWH, Your loving devotion, and give to us Your salvation! 8 Let me hear what my God YHWH will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His holy ones; He will not let them return to folly. 9 Surely His salvation is near to those fearing Him, that glory may dwell in our land. 10 Loving devotion and faithfulness have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.
