A song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, keep no silence to You; do not be silent, and do not be still, O God.

For behold, Your enemies roar, and those hating You have lifted up the head.

Against Your people, they act with cunning counsel, and they take counsel together against Your treasured ones.

They say, “Come, and we shall make them disappear as a nation, and the name of Israel will not be remembered anymore.”

For, they consulted together in heart; they cut an alliance against You—

the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with those dwelling in Tyre.

Assyria also has joined with them; they have become an arm for the sons of Lot. Selah

may You do to them as to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the River Kishon.
