The One leading Joseph as a flock, dwelling above the cherubim, shine forth 2 before the face of Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh! Rouse Your strength, and come to bring salvation for us! 3 O God, restore us, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved! 4 O YHWH, God of Hosts, until when will You smolder at the prayer of Your people? 5 You have fed them the bread of tears, and caused them to drink with tears a third part. 6 You have made us a strife to our neighbors, and our enemies mock at it. 7 O God of Hosts, restore us, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved! 8 A vine from Egypt You pulled out; You drove out the nations and planted her. 9 You cleared before her face and let her root take root, and she filled the land.
