stilling the roaring of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples.

And those dwelling at the ends were afraid of Your signs; the goings forth of morning and evening You cause to sing.

You attend to the earth and give it abundance; greatly You enrich it; the stream of God is full of water; You provide their grain when thus You prepare it—

soaking its furrows, descending on its ridges; with showers You soften it; its springing up You bless.

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your tracks drip with fatness.

They drip on the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are surrounded with joy.

The meadows are clothed with the flock, and the valleys are feeble with grain—they shout for joy and even sing.
