1 For the one directing. A Psalm of David. A Song. To You praise is waiting, O God, in Zion, and to You the vow will be fulfilled. 2 O Hearer of prayer, to You all flesh will come. 3 Matters of iniquities prevail against me—our transgressions, You wipe them away! 4 Blessed is the one You choose and bring near, that he may dwell in Your courts; we will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, the holiness of Your temple. 5 With fearsome things, may You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, the confidence for all the farthest ends of the earth and the sea, 6 the One establishing the mountains by His strength, being girded with might, 7 stilling the roaring of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples. 8 And those dwelling at the ends were afraid of Your signs; the goings forth of morning and evening You cause to sing.
