Psalms 33:1-15 ▼

1 Give a ringing cry, O righteous ones, in YHWH! Beautiful is the praise for the upright.

2 Give thanks to YHWH with the harp; with an instrument of ten strings, make music to Him.

3 Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.

4 For straight is the word of YHWH, and all His work is trustworthy.

5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving devotion of YHWH.

6 By the word of YHWH the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host.

7 He gathers together the waters of the sea as a heap; He lays up the depths in storehouses.

8 Let them be afraid of YHWH, all the earth; let all those dwelling in the world stand in awe of Him!

9 For He has spoken, and it came to pass; He has commanded, and it stood firm.

10 YHWH breaks apart the counsel of nations; He has diasllowed the plans of the peoples.

11 The counsel of YHWH stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation and to generation.

12 Blessed is the nation for whom YHWH is its God, the people He has chosen as the inheritance for Him.

13 From the heavens, YHWH looks; He sees all the sons of man.

14 From the fixed place of His sitting, He gazes toward all those dwelling on the earth.

15 He fashions their hearts together; He attends to all their works.
