1 For the one directing. A Psalm of David. May YHWH answer you in the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob set you on high. 2 May He send help for you from the Holy Place, and from Zion may He support you. 3 May He remember all your gifts, and anoint your burnt offering. Selah 4 may He give to you according to your heart, and fulfill all your counsel. 5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and we will raise a banner in the name of our God; may YHWH fulfill all your petitions. 6 Now I know that YHWH brings salvation for His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven, with the saving might of His right hand. 7 These in the chariots, and these in the horses, but we, in the name of YHWH our God, will remember. 8 They have bowed down and fallen, and we have risen and stand upright.
