And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

saying to them, “Go into the village ahead of you?, and immediately you? will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Having loosed them, bring them to Me.

And if anyone should say anything to you?, you? will say that the Lord has need of them, and immediately he will send them.”

And this came to pass so that it might be fulfilled, that having been spoken through the prophet, saying,

“Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King comes to you, gentle and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”

And the disciples, having gone and having done as Jesus directed them,

led the donkey and the colt and put their garments on them, and He sat on them.

And the very large crowd spread their garments in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them in the road.

And the crowds going before Him and those following were crying out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!”

And on His having entered into Jerusalem, all the city was shaken, saying, “Who is this?”

And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet, Jesus, the One from Nazareth of Galilee.”

And Jesus entered into the temple and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple. And He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves.

And He says to them, “It has been written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you? are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”

And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.
