21 Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me." 22 But the young man, having heard this saying, went away grieved; for he was one who had large possessions. 23 And Jesus said to His disciples, "Verily I say to you, that with difficulty shall a rich man enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. 24 And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God." 25 And the disciples, having heard it, were amazed exceedingly, saying, "Who, then, can be saved? " 26 But Jesus, looking on them , said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." 27 Then Peter, answering, said to Him, "Behold, we left all, and followed Thee; what, then, shall we have?" 28 And Jesus said to them, "Verily I say to you, that ye who followed Me, in the regeneration, when the Son of Man shall sit upon the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive manifold more and shall inherit eternal life. 30 But many that are first shall be last, and last first."
