1 Then Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you⁺, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God {Theou} arrive with power {dynamei}. 2 After six days Jesus (YHWH saves) took with Him Peter (rock), James (supplanter / follower), and John (YHWH is gracious), and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became radiantly white, brighter than any launderer on earth could bleach them. 4 And Elijah (my God is YHWH) and Moses (drawn out) appeared before them, talking with Jesus (YHWH saves).
