1 And all the multitude of them having risen, brought him to Pilate. 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be Christ a King. 3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou King of the Jews? And he having answered, said to him, Thou sayest. 4 And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, I find nothing blameworthy in this man. 5 And they were strong, saying, That he stirs up the people, teaching through the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee to here. 6 And Pilate having heard of Galilee, asked if the man is a Galilean. 7 And having known that he is from Herod's authority, he sent him to Herod, he being in Jerusalem in those days.
