1 And He looked up and saw the rich people bringing their gifts to the treasury: 2 and He saw also a poor widow throwing in two mites. 3 And He said, Verily I tell you, this poor widow hath put in more than they all. 4 For all these have out of their abundance contributed to the offerings of God: but she out of her penury hath given all she had. 5 And as some were speaking of the temple; how it was adorned with beautiful stones and gifts, He said, As for these things which ye see, 6 the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be demolished.
