41 And as He drew near, having seen the city, He wept over it, 42 saying, “If you knew in this day, even you, the things for peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you, and your enemies will cast around you a barricade, and they will surround you and will hem you in on every side. 44 And they will level you to the ground, and your children in you, and they will not leave a stone upon a stone in you, because you did not know the season of your visitation.” 45 And having entered into the temple, He began to cast out those selling, 46 saying to them, “It has been written: ‘And My house will be a house of prayer.’ But you? made it ‘a den of robbers.’” 47 And He was teaching every day in the temple.
