1 Now at the same time, some were present, reporting to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices. 2 And answering, He said to them, “Do you? think that these Galileans were sinners beyond all the Galileans, because they have suffered these things? 3 No, I say to you?; but unless you? repent, you? will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and it killed them: Do you? think that these were debtors beyond all the men dwelling in Jerusalem? 5 No, I say to you?; but unless you? repent, you? will all likewise perish.” 6 And He was speaking this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and he did not find any. 7 And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Behold, for these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree and do not find it. Therefore cut it down! Why does it also render the soil useless?’ Luke 13:1-7, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
