Leviticus 23:1-11 ▼

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘The feasts of YHWH that you? shall proclaim to be holy convocations—these are My feasts.

3 Six days work shall be done, and the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You? shall not do any work; it is the Sabbath of YHWH in all your? dwellings.

4 These are the feasts of YHWH, holy convocations, which you? shall proclaim at their appointed times.

5 In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, is the passover to YHWH.

6 And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of the Unleavened to YHWH. Seven days you? must eat unleavened bread.

7 On the first day you? shall have a holy convocation. You? shall not do any customary work.

8 And you? shall offer a fire offering to YHWH for seven days. The seventh day is a holy convocation; you? shall not do any customary work.’”

9 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you? come into the land that I am giving to you? and you? reap its harvest, then you? shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your? harvest to the priest.

11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the face of YHWH to be accepted on your? behalf. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
