15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they offer to YHWH, 16 or allow them to bear the guilt of trespass when they eat their holy things. For I am YHWH, sanctifying them.” 17 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 18 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘Any man of the house of Israel or of the sojourners in Israel who offers his sacrifice for any of his vows or for any of his freewill offerings that they offer to YHWH as a burnt offering, 19 you? must offer freely an unblemished male of the herd from the sheep or from the goats. 20 Anything that has a blemish in it, you? shall not offer; for it shall not be acceptable on your? behalf. 21 And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to YHWH to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, it must be perfect for acceptance; there shall not be any blemish on it. 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a running sore, or itch, or scab—these you? shall not offer to YHWH, nor make of them a fire offering on the altar to YHWH. 23 And an ox or a lamb that has any limb too long or too short, you may offer as a freewill offering, and for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 And what is bruised, or crushed, or torn, or cut you? shall not offer to YHWH. And in your? land you? shall not do it. 25 And you? shall not offer as the bread of your? God from the hand of a son of a foreigner, from any of these, because their corruption is in them and defects are in them; they shall not be accepted on your? behalf.’” 26 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, then it shall be seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted for an offering, a fire offering to YHWH. 28 And an ox or a sheep—do not kill both her and her young in one day. 29 And when you? offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to YHWH, offer it of your? own free will. 30 On that day it shall be eaten; you? shall leave none of it until morning. I am YHWH. 31 And you? shall keep My commandments and perform them. I am YHWH. 32 And you? shall not profane My holy name, and I will be acknowledged as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel. I am YHWH, sanctifying you?, 33 the One bringing you out of the land of Egypt, to be your? God. I am YHWH.” Leviticus 22:15-33, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
