15 And having made a whip out of cords, He cast out all from the temple, both sheep and oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned the tables. 16 And to those selling the doves He said, “Take these from here! Do not make the house of My Father a house of trade!” 17 His disciples remembered that it is written: “The zeal of Your house will consume Me.” 18 Therefore the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us that You do these things?” 19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 Therefore the Jews said, “This temple was built in forty and six years, and You will raise it up in three days?” 21 But He was speaking about the temple of His body. 22 Therefore, when He was raised up from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus said. 23 And as He was in Jerusalem in the Passover, in the Feast, many believed in His name, beholding His signs that He was doing. 24 But Jesus Himself was not entrusting Himself to them, because of His knowing all, 25 and because He had no need that anyone should testify about man, for He Himself knew what was in man.
